Regular registered users can no longer use the BBCode [ img] tags to embed an image into a post. Too many spam bots are to blame for the revoking of this privilege to registered users.

All users assigned to any of the AF forum ranks may continue to have the privilege of embedding images (yay, Chake).

To tag along with this news, the CAPTCHA has been beefed up a little bit (not much), so hopefully the number of rogue bots that activate accounts will decrease.

It's a slight PEBCAK. It's been awhile since I looked at the forum permissions and thought that when I nerfed 'registered users' (generic forum group all forum accounts have) to not be able to do [ img] that I had fixed the problem. Looking at it now, I was relying on *all* guild ranks to be children of 'registered users' in the Public forums. The reason Officer could post images was because they have moderator access.

I've tweaked all of the ranks in the Public forum area to deny 'registered users' any [ img] access but allow all guild rank groups the privilege.

This should fix the problem Advent Fury members were having with posting images in the Public forums.
